Advisor to CVC since 2010. Mr Berner joined CVC Capital Partners in 2007 and was a founding partner of CVC’s US efforts. Formerly a Managing Director of Ripplewood Holdings L.L.C, he oversaw Ripplewood’s investments in a number of industries and sat on its Investment Committee. Between 1986 and 1996, Mr Berner held numerous positions with Morgan Stanley, most recently in the Merger and Acquisition Department. Mr Berner holds a BBA with a major in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he currently sits on the Alumni Board of Advisors. He is on the Board of Directors of Youth, I.N.C., a non profit organisation in New York and Watsco (NYSE).
