Robert Lucas is a Managing Partner of CVC Capital Partners. He joined CVC in 1996, having previously been a Local Director at 3i Group plc. He was with 3i for nine years, both in London and Cambridge. Prior to entering private equity, he worked as an engineer for GEC Marconi. Mr. Lucas holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London.
