In March 2000, CVC funds completed the buyout of the Colomer Group (formerly the professional products division of Revlon Inc). The Colomer Group manufactures and distributes a broad line of leading salon and retail hair and nail care products around the world.
The main markets for the group are the US, Spain, Italy, Mexico and France. The three core product areas are: salon products (Revlon-branded hair and nail care products for use or resale by professional salons); retail products (branded beauty products sold through retail); and ethnic products (products specially designed for African hair).
