CVC recognises the importance of providing a website that is inclusive to all user groups.
Our site has been designed and built to be accessible to as many people as possible, having been developed in accordance with the UK government website guidelines.
Navigation mechanisms have been built that are accessible by screen readers and voice browsers. Most browsers have the capacity to change font colour, turn off images and style sheets and increase magnification. You can increase the size of the text on this site by adjusting your browser's settings. If you use:
Firefox, go to the 'View' menu, select 'Text Size' and then choose 'Increase'. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard by pressing CRTL and '+' at the same time.
All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes.
This site also utilises some Flash technology. The Flash being used is accessible to an extent but we have also served a non-flash version of all the flash elements should the user's browser not accommodate the latest Flash technologies.
The CVC website uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual layout. We have avoided using tables for layout on this site except where absolutely necessary.
If you have any difficulty using our website or have any comments on the accessibility of our website, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
