In June 2012, CVC completed the acquisition of a majority stake in AlixPartners.
AlixPartners is a global advisory firm offering comprehensive services in improving corporate financial and operational performance, executing corporate turnarounds and restructurings, providing litigation consulting and forensic accounting services, and providing information management services in urgent, high-impact situations.
The company has over 31 years of operating history and extensive experience working with leading Fortune 500 and middle-market companies. Founded in 1981, the firm has more than 950 professionals in offices around the world.
In recent years, AlixPartners has significantly expanded its offerings, to the point that while we continue to enjoy a leadership position globally in restructuring, today the majority of our revenues come from our other service lines, including performance-improvement consulting, litigation and investigations support, and IT transformation and data analytics. Partnering with CVC will enable us to continue to develop our services and expand geographically.
