Synstar

Synstar offers a broad range of IT-related services on both a pan-European and local basis. It has wholly owned subsidiaries in the UK, where approximately half of group revenues are derived, and across Europe. The company’s main service products fall into the categories: multi-vendor maintenance, business recovery, data management, networking, services integration and third party repair services.

Synstar has accrued over 40 years’ experience of delivering multi-vendor services across Europe. The company has a long tradition of delivering highly customised services. This broad range of skills coupled with an agile workforce creates flexibility in service solutions which can be tailored to individual customers needs.

In March 1999, Synstar was subject to an IPO March and fully exited by CVC Funds in May 2003; it was subsequently acquired by Hewlett-Packard CDS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard.
