CVC is entrusted by its investors to identify and invest in businesses that it believes are capable of generating long term capital appreciation. This means having experienced investment professionals in the right places identifying the right opportunities. They are guided in turn by a decision-making process comprising committees and the Group Board.

Industrial Advisors
CVC's team of industrial advisers are experienced business managers who work full time with CVC from our offices throughout Europe, Asia and the US. They bring hands-on experience in assessing how best to improve the performance of our portfolio companies.
Advisory Board
The 32 members of CVC's advisory board have held executive roles in major corporations throughout the world. Their role is to help identify and evaluate opportunities. In some cases they also serve on the board of directors of portfolio companies, complementing the financial and transactional know-how of our investment professionals.
Investment Professionals
CVC's investment professionals combine local knowledge, a common investment culture and years of investment experience to identify the best acquisition opportunities in their markets. They draw on the expertise residing throughout the office network and in the advisory board to ensure that our portfolio companies perform to their full potential.
Investment Committee
CVC meets on a regular basis to consider new investment opportunities. Members are CVC’s Managing Partners and a small number of qualified outsiders. Approval to recommend an investment is by consensus.
Portfolio Committee
CVC’s Portfolio Committee monitors the performance of investments and encourages best practice across CVC’s portfolio.
