Rapid expansion into new territories and markets

Founded in 2000, the company's innovative suite of services delivers unparalleled levels of control and security and gives software vendors in a wide range of verticals a one-stop portal to multiple cellular and satellite carriers.

In 2015, Wireless Logic's founders sought an experienced investment partner who could help the business expand into Europe and beyond. CVC created a partnership with management to take the company into a new phase of rapid growth. Over the following three years, the partnership delivered:

  • An expanded presence in Europe through a combination of strong organic growth and complementary acquisitions.
  • Significant increases in its service offerings, including entry into the large Original Equipment Manufacturers ("OEM") Internet of Things ("IoT") market.
  • Market leadership in an attractive and growing sector.
  • A diversified and satisfied customer base.

A rewarding outcome for all parties

Wireless Logic was acquired by Montagu Private Equity in 2018. Aware of its ongoing business potential, CVC took a minority holding in the company, before selling this stake to Montagu in 2021, ending a highly successful investment partnership.

With the demand for IoT solutions growing on a global scale, Wireless Logic continues to increase its geographical reach, establish new routes to market, build critical strategic partnerships and drive technological advantage across new services such as 5G, LPWAN and eSIM. Today the business is in a great position to continue to develop and grow in the years to come.
