When COVID-19 struck in Spain, CLH Group's board approved a €1 million budget to support the country's initiatives against the virus. It is funding medical supplies for the Spanish Health Ministry, including 500,000 disposable gloves, over 200,000 masks and more than 40,000 protective clothing kits. Many of these are being procured from China, following CVC’s introductions to a specialist manufacturer.
In its supply chain, CLH is supporting the liquidity of its small suppliers and looking to improve payment terms. The company has also offered to assign its vehicles for Spain’s sanitary and military departments.
