From its flagship hospitals in Athens to a primary care unit looking after refugees, private hospital operator Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG) has been providing medical essentials during the pandemic. This includes offering 125 of its ICU beds for COVID-19 and non-COVID patients.

The company has also donated a 3D printer to produce 120 full-face shields per day in Crete, as well as biochemical analysers and a respirator to a unit covering the needs of a refugee camp in the Peloponnese. For the employees of its six hospitals who are unable to work for medical or care reasons, HHG is maintaining salary levels.
