Supported by CVC's Sao Paulo team, portfolio company Moove has launched a fundraiser to provide hygiene products, PPE and food to local hospitals in Ilha de Governador, Brazil, where Moove's production facilities are located.
Additionally, Moove has also begun donating food baskets and hygiene products to 500 families in the communities of Guarabu and has distributed 3,600 handmade fabric masks made by suppliers in the region.
Separately, Moove employees from all over Brazil are supporting projects in their communities and these donations are being matched by the company, to double the impact on the people they are helping.
The pandemic has affected society as a whole. We need to help those closest to us, we are present on Ilha do Governador and all our efforts will be dedicated to the community in our surroundings.
