When the retail sector closed its doors, Madrid-based global clothing group Tendam immediately redeployed its expertise and assets to help those in need. Its global supply network sourced and transported €2 million worth of medical gear from Asia to Spain, with a sizeable donation to Spanish healthcare authorities of €1 million.

In addition, Tendam has also donated 50,000 branded garments to those who need fresh clothing in hospitals and nursing homes and for those in isolation. Its pattern-making workshop and network of suppliers are also manufacturing PPE to donate to nursing homes.

Tendam has also topped up any shortfalls in employee salaries at a cost of over €3 million, as well as providing advanced payslips at zero interest.
