In our latest quarterly CVC Credit Perspectives report, the CVC Credit team reflects on the factors and trends that have shaped the liquid and private credit markets this year.
- Credit markets are showing strength - Even with global uncertainty in 2025, credit markets have continued to perform well. Europe looks well-positioned heading into 2026, with growth prospects improving.
- Private credit keeps gaining ground - With record levels of capital and more investors joining the space, the private credit sector is scaling quickly.
- CVC continues to expand its Credit platform - We recently announced the closing of our fourth European Direct Lending Fund, raising €10.4 billion to invest across the European opportunity, a significant increase over the €6.3 billion raised in 2022 and €1.3 billion in 2020.
