CVC Capital Partners ("CVC"), a leading global private equity firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Wei as Senior Advisor to CVC Asia Pacific, with immediate effect. James Wei will support CVC’s activities in the consumer and retail sector in Asia.

James Wei was previously Executive Board member and President of Asia for Beiersdorf AG, President of Asia Pacific for Avon Cosmetics, and prior to that held various senior executive positions over a 20 year career at Proctor & Gamble in Asia and the United States, including P&G Greater China Beauty and Health GM. James developed Pantene brand and other success model for P&G. James has close to 30 years of experience in the consumer goods industry in Asia, including several senior P&L roles for the Asia Pacific businesses of many leading global consumer brands. James currently serves as a Non-executive Director on the board of HK-listed Li Ning, one of China's leading branded sports apparel retailers. James is also a member of the advisory board of Taiwan's government-owned Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Corporation.
