CVC Capital Partners (“CVC”) today announced that CVC Fund VI has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Metropolitan Hospital Group ("Metropolitan" or the "Group").
Established in 2000, Metropolitan is one of the largest private hospitals in Greece, treating more than 35,000 inpatients and 300,000 outpatients annually.
Current management will remain significant minority shareholders in the Group.
The terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
