CVC Capital Partners today announced that Nobuaki Kurumatani will be appointed President of Japan as of 1st May.

Mr Kurumatani joins CVC from Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, one of the largest financial institutions in Japan, where he worked most recently as Deputy President and Board Director. Mr Kurumatani graduated from The Unviversity of Tokyo with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

In April 2017, CVC appointed Yoshiaki Fujimori as Senior Executive Advisor of Japan.
