We are pleased to announce that Hamish Buckland will join Credit Partners as Chairman and will work with the team to further develop the business.

CVC Credit Partners is a leading credit manager focussed on sub-investment grade debt across the U.S. and Europe, with US$17.9 billion of AuM. Since being established in 2006, CVC Credit has achieved strong growth, with a global business covering Performing Credit, Credit Opportunities & Special Situations and Private Debt. The business is led by Gretchen Bergstresser, Mark DeNatale and Tom Newberry.

Hamish will be joining CVC from Triton Partners and previously, he spent 25 years at JPMorgan, where his most recent role was Vice Chairman of the Investment Banking business and before which he ran JPMorgan's European Leverage Finance business from 2001 to 2008. In addition, Hamish has acted as Advisor and Board Director at HM Treasury's Asset Protection Agency.

Hamish Buckland said: "I have worked closely with CVC for many years and I am delighted to be joining CVC Credit at such an exciting time in their development. We have an exceptional team who have delivered first rate returns for our investors across multiple credit cycles and these returns will underpin our future growth."

Steve Hickey added: "Over the last 5 years, CVC Credit Partners has developed into a leading, global credit management firm, having more than doubled our assets under management. Being associated with this platform and leading such a talented group of professionals has been a real privilege and I look forward to watching CVC Credit go from strength to strength."
