CVC Credit Partners today announced that after five years at the firm, Stephen Hickey will leave CVC for personal reasons. We would like to thank Steve for his hard work and dedication. Since Steve joined CVC in 2012, AuM has grown from US$8.1 billion to US$17.9 billion.
We are pleased to announce that Hamish Buckland will join Credit Partners as Chairman and will work with the team to further develop the business.
CVC Credit Partners is a leading credit manager focussed on sub-investment grade debt across the U.S. and Europe, with US$17.9 billion of AuM. Since being established in 2006, CVC Credit has achieved strong growth, with a global business covering Performing Credit, Credit Opportunities & Special Situations and Private Debt. The business is led by Gretchen Bergstresser, Mark DeNatale and Tom Newberry.
Hamish will be joining CVC from Triton Partners and previously, he spent 25 years at JPMorgan, where his most recent role was Vice Chairman of the Investment Banking business and before which he ran JPMorgan's European Leverage Finance business from 2001 to 2008. In addition, Hamish has acted as Advisor and Board Director at HM Treasury's Asset Protection Agency.
