CVC, through its CVC Catalyst III fund, has agreed to acquire a minority stake in Fibrotex, a global leader in advanced multispectral camouflage solutions designed to protect personnel, vehicles and critical assets by reducing their detectability. The investment represents a partnership with the founding Blum family, which will retain majority ownership.
With principal locations in Kentucky, US, and Petah Tikva, Israel, Fibrotex serves a highly international customer base across more than 20 countries, including the US, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, multiple European countries, and other allied nations.
Demand for advanced protective technologies is supported by long-term defence modernisation, increasing security requirements and growing investment in personnel and asset protection. Drawing on its global network and investment experience, CVC Catalyst will support Fibrotex’s continued innovation and international expansion.
The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
The Blum family were advised by Jefferies. CVC were advised by Rothschild.
