CVC's London office held its latest Young Innovator award and the winner Marco Rovagnati from social enterprise PoaPoa, a producer of hand-blended soaps and lotions made in collaboration with small producers from rural, emerging communities in Ghana, Kenya and the Philippines.
Marco said the £30,000 grant will be used to accelerate the development of the company's range as well improve marketing and producing testing.
PoaPoa was selected from four finalists who pitched their businesses to a panel of CVC executives and guest judges, including Simon Franks from the Franks Family Foundation and Alexander de Mol from Bain & Co.
