As part of CVC’s ongoing commitment to helping children and young people in the communities where we and our portfolio companies are active, three CVC offices recently supported student events.

The CVC Warsaw team have participated in events arranged by the Polish societies at LSE and UCL in London. The annual conferences, which we have been involved in for a few years, were attended by over 1,100 students and young professionals. CVC Partner Kris Krawczyk participated in panels on investing in Central and Eastern Europe, whilst Investment Director Marta Kowalska and Investment Executive Mikołaj Konior held workshops on private equity modelling and shared tips on how to break into private equity.

CVC and the Community

In the London office, we were pleased to host students from Oxford University who are part of the Oxford Seed Fund which provides start-ups and entrepreneurs with access to capital, diverse investors, and a supportive community. The students spent time with the CVC team finding out more about the CVC investment process. CVC Foundation has supported Oxford Seed Fund since 2022.

Over in New York, the CVC team hosted high school students through charity BUILD. The 10th grade students pitched their business ideas and then got help and support with their business plans and presentations from the CVC team, ahead of their final pitch at the end of May. CVC has supported the BUILD programme since 2021.
