CVC Capital Partners ("CVC"), a leading global private equity firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Hobbins as a Senior Adviser to the Pan Asia Team. Mr Hobbins' appointment is effective immediately.
Mr Hobbins, based in Hong Kong, has over 30 years of international experience in the Consumer, Retail, Sourcing and Distribution sectors and has held senior leadership positions at several international retail and distribution companies. He is currently a director of Fung Holdings (1937) Limited, the controlling shareholder of the Fung Group, one of the world's largest global logistics, distribution and retailing firms and also sits of the board of Convenience Retail Asia. Prior to his current position, Mr Hobbins was the Group Managing Director of Trinity Limited, the Hong Kong listed high end luxury men's wear company.
Mr Hobbins has held a number of executive and board positions in a variety of companies including Li & Fung Retailing, Li & Fung Distribution, Inchcape Marketing Services - Asia Pacific, Inchcape Buying Services, Campbell Soup Company UK and Ault Foods in Canada. He has also held a number of senior management positions in Procter & Gamble, Hutchison Whampoa and Cadbury Schweppes where he started his career in brand management.
