During September, CVC hosted 12 students from 11 different universities across the UK for a week of work experience arranged in conjunction with CVC charity partner, IntoUniversity.
The students were given challenging case studies on Alphabet, Meta and Amazon, before presenting their recommendations to a mock investment committee, which included senior investment professionals from CVC.
Throughout the week, the students also met various teams based in our London offices, who shared their own career journeys and gave advice to the students. In addition, the students heard from several guest speakers during the week, as well as recent CVC Young Innovator Award winners Joel from MYNDUP and Ashley from Volunteero who talked about their businesses and career journeys.
Well-organised and gave me good insights. Thanks a lot, it really gave me more encouragement for a career in private equity in the future.
